At The Family Learning Hub, we are committed to providing high-quality educational products and experiences. Please read this Returns and Refunds Policy carefully before purchasing, as it explains your rights and our obligations.
1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Under UK law, you may have a right to cancel an order within 14 days of purchase — known as the “cooling-off period.” However, exceptions apply, especially for digital content and dated services.
Digital Products (eBooks, PDFs, Videos, etc.)
You are not entitled to a refund once the download or streaming has begun if you gave consent to immediate access and acknowledged you would lose your cancellation rights.
At checkout, you will be required to tick a box confirming this consent.
Online Courses & Virtual Workshops
If the course or session has not yet started and you cancel within 14 days, you may be entitled to a full refund.
If the course has started (live or on-demand) and you’ve accessed any materials, you waive your right to cancel under the cooling-off period.
In-Person Courses & Events
Cancellations may be accepted up to 7 days before the event start date.
No refunds will be provided for non-attendance unless required by law.
2. Our Voluntary Refund Policy (Outside Legal Requirements)
Although not obligated, we may offer refunds in the following cases:
Technical issues preventing download/access (with confirmation and within 7 days of purchase)
Duplicate purchase made in error
Course cancellations or postponements on our part

We reserve the right to refuse refunds where:
The product has been accessed/downloaded;
The event has already taken place or begun;
The claim is not submitted within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Exchanges or Credit Notes
In certain cases, we may offer a credit note or exchange for an alternative course or product instead of a refund. These are discretionary and handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Faulty or Misrepresented Products
If you believe a product or service was faulty or not as described:

If verified, we will provide a full refund or a replacement product/service in accordance with your statutory rights.
5. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 working days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
